I don't know what the issue is for me with LXDE on archlinux, the menu
and the run dialog are inaccessible. I know the run dialog is certainly
appearing as when I type a command and press enter the application is
launched and I see something appear on the screen when I press alt+f2,
orca doesn't see it at all. I have seen LXDE working on knoppix-adriane
so I know it can be made to work but I just can't get it working. As my
aim isn't specifically to get LXDE working but rather to find a lighter
weight desktop then as I have XFCE working that does seem more logical
to follow.

Hi Michael,
Well some notes to lxde a11y:

Try alt+f2 for the run dialog and
alt+f1 or ctrl+esc for the applicationsmenu.
pcmanfm is accessible as well if you select listview for the filebrowser
under view.
The most anoying not accessible things are the panels and I wasn't able
to read the apps stored on my desktop.
Any way lxde is great and runs well on my machine.
