I haven't messed with it for some time. I'm not aware of any new
program updates and I recall one of myu problems being with the
package seeming to be incomplete. I kept seeing references to some
Java components which I don't have and were not supplied with the
project. I'll have to pick up the pieces tonight or tomorrow and see
what is exactly wrong now; just working off what I could remember off
the top of my head right now.

Whatever I said in my previous message applies and is the basis of my
problems.

I haven't had a chance to try this out yet. :-( Have you had any success since you've last tried? If not,
I think we can track down the odt2daisy folks and try to work down the issues.

I can confirming the problems with Orca getting hung while trying to
export a document but worse, I think when I installed odt2daisy a few
weeks ago I got errors about missing stuff and it did not find the
items they mentioned I was supposed to have. I forget the exact
details while I'm at work over remote. I think it was java related
stuff and I posted a message here on the list back then and never got
any replies. Frankly, I've never been able to get the product to
work. I posted a bug on their sourceforge site but haven't heard a
word in response.

Do you have to install any other supplimental packages to get this
product to work? I'm on an Arch system and can gladly build any
needed packages.

Subject: Re: [orca-list] Question with odt2daisy Openoffice.org extension

Dear List,

I downloaded the extension with following website:
http://odt2daisy.sourceforge.net
If I remember correct, I downloaded the 2.0 stable version.
Very interesting, I download and reinstall the extension again, now works
correct.
I see only two problem, but possible this is my system problem:
1. When I export as daisy xml or full daisy xml file, Orca does'nt spokening the
correct dialog controls, only flatreview help.
But this happen possible because this extension is not localized with hungarian
language. Anybody confirm this problem? For example: publisher control, language
control, bitrate control (this is true for example the export as full daisy
dialog).

2. Lot of time when I choose export as full daisy or export daisy xml menu item,
Orca is freeze.
I am using Orca 2.29.x version, and Openoffice.org 3.1.8 version.
Possible this is my system bug, anybody confirm this?

Attila
