Hey all.
While doing some performance-related work, I was trying something in
Firefox. Unexpectedly, everything blew up. So then I reversed my work,
and everything still blew up. Yadda, yadda, yadda it turned out to be an
add-on called Jetpack. :-(
The symptoms are as follows: You'll be arrowing in a page like our
bugzilla, and everything seems fine. Then all of a sudden and for no
apparent reason, Orca proclaims, and I quote,
"'data:text/html,%3Cbold%
20style='background-color:darkblue;color:white'%3E%5Ba%5D%3C/bold%3E
html content'"
After which Orca stops speaking in Firefox and many a traceback get
dumped due to the cell at (0, 0) in the current table being
non-existent.
I tried various and sundry sanity checks, and I can make most of the
above symptoms go away, but Orca still gets stuck and goes silent. The
fix is to uninstall the <insert swear word here> add-on and relaunch
Firefox. Or better yet, just don't install it in the first place.
Thanks and take care.
