Well, I used gdm and I had not enabled the accessible login, but when I
logged in, the registry daemon was not starting.  When I enabled the key
it worked, so I thought there was some change, so I am not sure what was
going on here.  Now I enabled the accessible login and gdm works and my
user works also.  Very strange.
