Re: [orca-list] pdf reader

Hello Storm,

Adobe Acrobat Reader is accessible in Windows - at least - with a special voice add on that reads the pdf's - it works nicely.

Once the reader has been installed, navigate to the View -> Read Out Loud menu. If the options are greyed out, you'll need to hook it up to a speech synthesis system.

I haven't used Adobe Reader for a while on Linux - I'm downloading it now to try it.

Be well,

David

Hi,
Are there any pdf readers that work with Orca?  I read on the live.gnome.org site that adobe acrobat was accessible, but when I installed it it didn't even work as well as the default reader installed with Ubuntu.  Thanks for suggestions.
