Hi,
I suspect that the guilty is pulseaudio.

Good morning / afternoon / evening depending on where you are in the world.

Has anyone noticed that the entire system gets very sluggish when using ESpeak in Fedora 12?

It could have been something I did. I simply installed ESpeak and Gnome-Speech-ESpeak and restarted Orca.
After selecting the ESpeak synthesizer things started to get very very slow.

I haven't even started troubleshooting why yet. I'll get around to that when I return from work this evening.
I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered this? Equally, has anyone installed Fedora 12 and ESpeak
and have not had this problem?

Thanks
