Acho esse pulseaudio uma porcaria e o Ubuntu 9.10 està uma tragÃdia com o som. Eles deveriam testar mais as coisas antes de nos empurrar tais modificaÃÃes. E o pior de tudo que ninguem assume responsabilidade, colocaram o Orca para usar o speech-dispatcher e nÃo nos deram nenhuma outra opÃÃo, a nÃo ser de ter que reconfigurar novamente o gnome-speech. Por sua vez o pessoal do ubuntu nos presenteia com esse pulseaudio totalmente instÃvel, e op pior de tudo que na lista de acessibilidade do ubuntu, ninguÃm responde os questionamentos a respeito.

Thus, a recent version of PulseAudio with a recent Linux kernel should work
better, but this does not imply that all of the issues have been resolved with
all sound cards.
