Anyone know how to do this with Debian? When I last attempted it, the
files differed enough for me to not know what I was doing. As of now,
I still cannot access any admin functions from Orca under Debian. I'm
on Squeeze (testing) at the moment.

Hi,

If you want to run any applications that need to run as root then you need to follow the wiki instructions
that detail creating a file called .orbitrc and modifying the sudoers file. Some of the programs still
wont work properly because of a bug with gksu so you still might want to run them from the command line
using sudo.

  Hi folks,

  I was looking around the Preferences menu under the System menu earlier, and some of the options such as
Screen Saver did notappear to open. Does this mean that i need to follow the instructions on the Orca wiki
to make them accessible with Orca? Also if I follow the instructions will the volume control also become
accessible? I am running Ubuntu 8.10 with orca 2.25.92

  Thanks

  james
