Hey y'all.
Speaking of tables and dynamic headers, we have an old RFE which I
re-targeted for this release because of the table and header stuff I was
working on, not to mention the upcoming string announcement and freeze
periods. It's bug 524720 - Support dynamic headers for individual data
ranges in Calc. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=524720
From my opening comment:
Sometimes a single spreadsheet has multiple data ranges present,
essentially functioning as independent tables [...]. In such an
instance, the dynamic row and/or column headers that apply to the
first range might not apply to the second. It would be handy if we
could support dynamic row and column headers on a per-range basis.
I was looking at it this evening, and it seems like it will be doable
and not too much work. Yea! Question is: Is this something that you all
have a current need for, or merely something I thought we should do?
<grin> If it's the latter, I'll put it back on the backburner for now.
Thanks for your thoughts! Take care.
