Hi John:
I think what might be nice is a way to have BrlTTY synthesize keyboard
navigation keys (e.g., arrow, page up/down, and tab) so the user does
not have to move their hands from the braille display in order to
navigate content.
I started looking at this again about a month ago with Samual Thibault,
and I believe the answer is to use xbrlapi in conjunction with brltty.
The idea is that xbrlapi would interpret commands on the braille display
and would then synthesize events for you. I'm not sure my braille
display has enough buttons to let me generate arrow/page/tab keys, though.
If someone has been successful using xbrlapi to do this kind of thing,
please let us know.
