No. There should be SPF record in gnome.org domain - see my polip.com as 
example:

[ethanak moiraine ~]$ host -t txt polip.com
polip.com descriptive text "v=spf1 ip4:81.219.120.0/25 ip4:62.233.231.6 
-all"

Setting-up SPF record is a first step to secure our mailing list against 
this kind of spam.
