Hi Josh,
I'm trying Adriane desktop and i like it as minimal live cd.
Is it possible to use adriane with an usb braille display?
My braille display is a baum supervario 40 and i'd like using it with
adriane but i couldn't find english documentation searching google.

Hi Josh,

bootup? or will I need a hardware synthe to try knoppix?"
Adriane is based on the text screen reader Suse-Blinux, so no Speakup or
stuff like that is involved.
Suse-Blinux uses Espeak and Speech-Dispatcher as speech output, and it
supports a variety of braille displays, but not that much as Brltty
does.
Adriane itself is a desktop environment for the text console, or rather
a menu that contains about a dozen of applications.
I suggest you try it, see my posted link in my first mail yesterday.
