Good morning Halim,
I would be interested in where you are getting your information that
gnome 2.24 will be in unstable in a couple of weeks. I know that the
repositories will be unfrozen once Lenny moves to stable, but I didn't
read anything about plans to work with gnome 2.24 because of the session
management problems.
Thanks,
Everett

Hi,
Debian is a great (stable) disribution.
always using latest version of software gives not more stability look
at (ubuntu)?
In near future one or two weeks you can use debian unstable for latest
gnome
stuff.
you can also use garnome to build gnome on your system.
Then you can use always the newest versions of the packages!
Just my 2 cents.
