Hey there Josh, how would you tell a linux screen reader like orca to use the klatt varient?  I did compile the latest development version of espeak, but I don't see any way to specify +klatt in the synth selections box.  Thanks much in advance for the help.

Thanks,

Guy

Hi,

In future versions of Ubuntu with orca go to:

Get the latest espeak, use that since it will always have the best pronunciation. also instead of using the default variant, why not use either the klatt variant, klatt2, or klatt3?
like:
en-us+klatt2
this means when I install it in windows speak using american english and use the klatt2 variant . klatt voices make espeak sound a  lot more like eloquence.
