Contrary to your belief, this was a most informative message and one
I'll keep around for a while:). Actually, this explains a lot. From
what I know about forms and that isn't a whole lot, field names are an
important element especially if the label guessing doesn't turn up
with anything good. I don't know if it should be exposed to the
reader if a hot key is pressed or not but on some occasions, tha
contents of the guessed label isn't correct - due to the page designer
for sure. I like the ability Orca has to derive a functional field
name from the top row of a grid pattern; I had no idea Orca did that;
thanks for pointing that out.
Concerning the title attributes, Can't you use the recent mouse-over
stuff to read those? Of course, one would have to hit the key to see
if such a title exists on a focused text box; just an idea. Also, I
didn't realize the title attribute worked that way. See, your message
is not only informative, but educational as well.
