Hmm, a worthy observation, Rich. Indeed, I also run with images off.
However, why would that make a difference between keyboard shortcut and
context menu activation for webvisum's captcha solving? Maybe it does,
I'll try later.

You have to remember to turn images on in the browser before using this
feature. Sounds obvious, but I was pulling my hair out till I realized
this... I always turn images off in the browser because page loads are
so so much faster.
Just my two cents...

Hi Jnaina,
I used the shortcut keys, not the context menu and it has been working
fine for me.
I really enjoy using this great extension. I have also labeled a few
websites wih were not that accessible.

Christian

Hi, Christian:
Did you do it with the shortcut keys? Or, did you use the context menu?

Hi Janina,
I installed Webvisum yesterday on my Ubuntu hardy installation with
Firefox 3 and I was able to use it on a webpage where i had to enter a
captcha. So it's working fine here. I awsn't however notified when the
captcha process was completed. I had to use the orca review commands in
order to find that out.
But I have then changed the settings in Webvisum to display a dialog
instead.
Best regards,
Christian

Hi,
I've been trying to use webvisum's captcha solving service without
success recently. So, I'm wondering whether others are, in
fact, successfully solving visual captchas with Orca 2.23.92, Firefox 3
and webvisum 0.7.7 -- or similar.
All I get is my tts saying "carat" as though I've pressed Shift+6.
