To do this, edit /etc/default/brltty and change runbrltty=no to runbrltty=yes.

Would that param also suppress the question at boot time who always asks for
my braille-display type and device ?

PS: note that after I press eX)it it boots up with braille, but we simply
set braille support on in Orca itself.
