Hi their. Please consult the Orca Wiki at http://live.gnome.org/Orca and
try the suggestions their. Asides from that, it is note to mention that I
personally do not run ubuntu, rather I run Debian with is close e.g.
Ubuntu is based on Debian, but their are still a lot of Ubuntu-specific
patches that are integrated into the distrobution. So when you install
the Ubuntu Desktop for example, what you get is not the standard Gnome
install. Instead you get a Ubuntuized Gnome. Since I'm not personally
available to answer you're question, I'm going to CC the Orca mailing list
and since I'm not sure if you're subscribed there, I'll forward any
responses to you.

I've installed ubuntu 8.04
I have such problem:
orca doesn't speak in administration tools.
it doesn't speek in gedit when i am in root user.
How can i solve this problem?
Where can i read about it?
