You say that OSS is used for sound. In my installation the sound system
is reported as SunAudio. I believe OSS is available for solaris, is
this something separate to SunAudio, or is SunAudio an improved OSS? Michael Whapples On 23/12/42 20:59, Willie Walker wrote: Hi Guy: IBMTTS isn't available on OpenSolaris, but Cepstral is. I haven't tested it on OpenSolaris in a while, but it worked last time I tried. DECtalk also runs on OpenSolaris, but I also haven't tested it in a very long time. OpenSolaris uses OSS for its sound support, but I believe the OSS used is a much more modern and stable version than what people are used to. Are they pretty easy to install? Lastly, is pulseaudio used in OS by default for sound? Thanks in advance for any info.
