One hint here to get the most out of a gnome terminal is to maximize
the screen with alt-space followed by x. Flat review is definietly
the way to go here. I am spoiled some with Speakup in a vertual
console completely outside of gnome but this is a nice alternative.
Plus you can cut/paste text between gnome terminal and other gnome
applications.

Hi,
You want to use flat review to examine output in gnome-terminal. You can look at the Orca keyboard
commands here:
http://live.gnome.org/Orca/KeyboardCommands
You can find a lot of information about using Orca on the wiki page:

Good luck,

Hello All
I am fairly new to the Gnome terminal.
Using Orca, after entering a command, I would like to access the output (Going Up and Down brings up
previous commands); I would like to examine the output by word character etc.
Is this possible with Orca?
And if so How?
If not should I use a different screen reader for the terminal?
A link to information will be appriciated.
Thanks
Regards
Isaac
