I found thunderbird to be pretty accessible with Orca. But I
downloaded the .bz2 archive from the latest trunk at Mozilla and
dropped the whole thing into /usr/local/lib with a directory name of
thunderbird. Then I created a symlink in /usr/local/bin to point to
the main executable in this newly built library and it was all good.
When I did this, I was running dropline gnome under slackware and
their version of thunderbird was too old to be accessible. I'm now on
Debian and haven't gotten around to setting up thunderbird yet. I
just find mutt to be so much more efficient and I can use it in a
gnome terminal or in a native console with speakup.

Could anyone recommend an email client that is accessible with Orca?
I ask because I am finding Evolution keeps repeating the same text when
trying to read messages.
I was going to try Thunderbird but the one that comes with Intrepid is
not accessible.
I am finding Evolution crashing when I first boot Ubuntu annoying and so
is the repeating of text when scrolling through a message.
