Eric,
did you install at-spi-registryd in the right location? You have to
figure out where fedora puts its at-spi-registryd and then, when
configuring at-spi, pass that to the --libexecdir option. For example:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/libexec/at-spi
If you don't know where your at-spi-registryd binary is, try
find /usr -iname at-spi-registryd
You might have two of them lying around, and your svn orca can't find
the "original" version.
Hth,
Garrett

Hi Eric:
I just tested this and it works fine for me. Is it possible you
built/installed Orca in a location that's not in your PATH or that an
older orca is being picked up before your new one?

Wilie, I installed from the svn url with the gnome-2-22 branch.
Kenny, my reasoning for this was because I was getting crashes when launching
right after the install of fc9. I had vary good success within fc8 so thought
that great starting success would continue on!
