[orca-list] Making system administration easier with orca and ubuntu

Hi All.

Just wanted to post a message on the system admin options in
orca.
Wouldn't it be possible for someone to simply write some
kind of a script the novis user could run in there home
directory which would simply create the necessary files in
the root folder and in the user's folder?
If this behaviour used to work in previous versions of
Ubuntu, why can't they simply bring out an update which
could be downloaded when you do an
apt-get upgrade?
Also is there a simpler way of performing the tasks to allow
access to the administration tasks all within gnome and not
having to use a text editor like nano or picco?
Ubuntu I have to say is the easiest distro i've played with
and very easy to get working so in theory there should be an
easier way for a new user to accomplish the system admin
steps because seriously those steps are quite dawnting and
the new user experience with ubuntu should b a pleasant one
not a difficult one that would turn some users off linux.
Any thoughts?
Please keep in mind, i'm not a linux guru by any means just
trying to offer some constructive feedback to the ubuntu
community.
