hello to all once again.
ok, I built atk and gail with:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr
without a problem
now:
ran 
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/libexec/at-spi-registryd
this went well
make
this also went well! This is whare things hung up yesterday.
now, sudo make install hangs:
sudo make install
the error:
