Re: [orca-list] Orca problems in terminal

Hi Lenny:

Strange. :-( You might try removing your ~/.orca directory (making sure it's completely gone) and re-doing the Orca setup as your normal login user, not root.

For system administration via Orca, the following URL contains some information that might help you:

http://live.gnome.org/Orca/SysAdmin

Hope this helps,

Will

Hi All,
I'm having problems with Orca crashing all the time.
It never works now in a terminal window.
I must have messed it up when I logged in as root with sudo su in a terminal, and did:
sudo orca --setup
My intent was to give Orca the ability to run in those apps like network, or gparted, and the like, where Orca never worked because of being administrative apps.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Glenn
