Hello,
I just upgraded to ubuntu hardy and have lost orca speech. How can I
check which sound device hardy is using? Is it using alsa or something
else?
If you are using gnome-speech, but speech-dispatcher is running, you will have to stop speech-dispatcher
first.
Also I have speech dispatcher installed it, but orca can't find it.
This is due to the python-speechd issue you are having. Resolve that, and I think Orca will be able to see
speech-dispatcher again.
Hope this helps.
