That's a good point,

I can't see a reason for having to choose between the two either.  And if 
you had a full size desktop keyboard or a numeric pad plugged into a laptop 
then surely this would enable you to be able to have numlock on for the 
keypad making it easier to type numbers and calculations and use the caps 
lock key as the Orca key so that Orca commands were done always with the 
main keyboard.  I think this would be really handy.
