I can now login to gnome but Orca still doesn't work. I successfully
configured it earlier with orca -t from a console and the settings are
saved in my .orca directory under my personal home dir. I finally had
some sighted help to look at the screen after logging on and it said
that ATSPI registry failed or wasn't available; the package,
at-spi-1.20.1 is most definitely installed and so is atk-1.20.0 though
I'm not sure if that is relevant here or not. Since I rebuilt orca
earlier today, does that possibly mean I have to rebuild at-spi also?
Other than that shown on screen visually, I had no other indications
that it wasn't working. Oh, the visual message also said that
assistive technology services would be disabled.
This is dropline-2.20.0 with orca 2.20.3 manually compiled in. Is
there anything else I need to fix? I did see a running process called
atspiregistryd or something like that but don't know of any log
messages to give us more info.
