There is an Orca script writing guide:

but I suspect it might be a little out of date nowadays.

The best thing is to look at some of the existing application specific
scripts, and see what they are trying to do. If you download the Orca
source distribution, you will find them in the .../orca/src/orca/scripts
directory.
