Hi Attila:

The code that does the pronunciation adjustment in Orca is in the 
"adjustForPronunciations" method of default.py.  You might try playing 
with the isWordDelimiter method in the same module to see if you can get 
it to not treat some of the special characters as word delimiters.

If this works out, please let us know and we can try to work on 
something to make the word delimiters thing a customizable option. 
Alternatively, we might want to also consider making the pronunciations 
stuff a little smarter, though I'm not sure how.
