Very interesting stuff.
gave me that information. How does Orca communicate with Firefox 3.0?
Orca communicates with Firefox via the AT-SPI. If you can get to other
parts of the desktop with Orca, then something seems like it might be
going wrong in the way Firefox is connecting to the AT-SPI. I'm not
sure of the best way to debug that (it's always worked for me).
2) The gnome web browser Epiphany works somewhat with Orca. The support
is not great, but one is at least able to browse most of the web pages.
Why is this web browser not supported? Can anything be done to support
this web browser?
The Orca team is small and we can only do so much. For web
accessibility, we chose Firefox because it has the richest support for
accessibility. If there is a strong interest in Ephiphany, we would
definitely be willing to accept a script someone develops for it.
