Hi,
I am trying to connect my Handy Tech Braille Wave via the usb port using the
adapter from serial to usb, but with no success. Nothing happens on the
braille system.
Well, is brltty running.
Connect it and then run
'brltty'If it doesn't work then use the -b option and give the argument
for your display:
brltty -b bn
is for braille note for example.
Then use -d which is device:
ttyS0 is serial port 0, so just look in /dev and see what your display is
listed under...
Not sure if dmesg will tell you much...
Is anybody out there using a Handy Tech Braille system with ORCA on Ubuntu
8.04? I would appreciate any help on or off list.
I'm not, but since orca talks to brltty if you have it working with brltty
you just need to tick the braille enable check box in orca...
