Hello everybody.
This is my second day with Ubuntu Gutsy and Orca 2.20, and I'm
encountering a serious problem. This is probably due to the fact I'm
very inexpert about Linux.
In a few words, that's what I do and what happens:
1 - I boot my system and log in as a normal user. Orca starts working
and Espeak starts speaking.
2 - I type alt+f2 to open the "run application" window, and I type
gnomr-terminal to open a terminal window.
3 - IN order to launch brltty, I type:
sudo su
password
/bin/brltty -bal -d/dev/ttyS0
Brltty starts, but a few second later, the Braille display shows the
"screen not in text mode" message, and stops working.
By the way, I guess I've not set brltty to start at boot time. How
can I do this in Ubuntu? Which file do I have to edit?
My exam at the University dipends on your help... :-)
Thank you so much for reading till here and have a nice day.
Fabrizio.
