[orca-list] Orca on Gnome or XFCE on 256 Mb RAM?

Hello everyone,

I am a beginner about to setup dual boot on a relatively old laptop with
only 256 Mb RAM and 800Mhz of speed.

Since I only see Gnome mentioned everywhere, I am assuming that Orca and
eSpeak will behave better there than on XFCE.  Is this a good assumption?

Would you recommend standard Ubuntu or Xubuntu?
