Hi all,
yesterday I upgraded Espeak. After completion Orca didn't speak correctly
anymore: Words or parts of words were not spoken.
I returned to the previous version, but since that I cannot log in on the
graphical terminal.
I had to restore libportaudio, because Espeak won't talk anymore, I must
have lost the library during the restoration of the old Espeak.
But why can't I log in on the graphical terminal? In text mode everything
works OK.
I performed
aptitude upgrade
which in the end caused more troubble: There are now severla dependencie
problems with important system components (gdm, gnome-control-center,
gnome-system-tools).
Is there a chance to restore Ubuntu, or do I have to set it up again?
Regards
Hermann
