Hello Mike,
enabling cursor tracking in read-only documents did the job, thanks.
Next question: Why do the editing keys "home", "end", "page up" and "page
down" not work? And why ist the cursor placed anywhere in the actual line
while reading, although I left it in the first position when starting to
read?
