2.3.99 won't build w/o 2.3.xx installed?

The Debian autobuilders have been choking on 2.3.99. After
investigating, it seems that 2.3.99 only built for me in the first
place because I had 2.3.97 installed. When I purged ORBit2 from my
system, 2.3.99 would no longer build.

This seems to be related to the recent move of Everything_module from
${prefix}/lib/orbit to ${prefix}/lib/orbit-2.0. The specific symptoms
are tha when doing a "make install", it says:

/bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=install /usr/bin/install -c Everything_module.la /build/buildd/orbit2-2.3.99/debian/tmp/usr/lib/orbit-2.0/Everything_module.la
libtool: install: warning: relinking `Everything_module.la'
cd /build/buildd/orbit2-2.3.99/test/everything; /bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=relink gcc -g -O2 -o Everything_module.la -rpath /usr/lib/orbit-2.0 -export-dynamic -module everything-imodule.lo ../../src/orb/libORBit-2.la
gcc -shared everything-imodule.lo -L/usr/lib -lORBit-2 -Wl,-soname -Wl,Everything_module.so.0 -o .libs/Everything_module.so.0.0.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lORBit-2
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

It looks to me like libtool is getting confused somehow, but I'm not a
libtool expert, so I'm not sure exactly how or why. However, anything
I can do to help resolve this problem, I will.

cheers
