Yes, the pptp package, typically obtained from your distro or from:

Sorry to be a pain, but are you able to quickly tell me what binary
it's actually looking for? I think I've installed the pptp package -
I have /usr/bin/pptp (v1.9.0), but still getting 'could not find
binary'...

It looks in:

        static const char *pptp_binary_paths[] =
                {
                        "/sbin/pptp",
                        "/usr/sbin/pptp",
                        "/usr/local/sbin/pptp",
                        NULL
                };

My NM connection is:

[connection]
id=vpn-pptp
uuid=5a2d1600-dead-babe-ac21-d8a5e1f0f8c5
type=vpn
autoconnect=false
permissions=

[vpn]
service-type=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp
gateway=GATEWAYIP
user=MYUSERNAME
password-flags=0

[vpn-secrets]
password=MYPASSWORD

[ipv4]
dns-search=
method=auto

[ipv6]
addr-gen-mode=stable-privacy
dns-search=
method=auto

Are there other configs needed....?
