While testing NetworkManager's applet/con-con editor super duper Hotspot feature, I noticed:

Client:
$ nmcli -f 802-11-wireless.mac-address,802-11-wireless.cloned-mac-address connection show Client
802-11-wireless.mac-address:            00:0A:1B:2C:3D:4E
802-11-wireless.cloned-mac-address:     00:11:22:33:44:55

MAC cloning does not work for Wi-Fi Client,
but it works for Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Bug or feature?

network-manager-applet-1.2.0-0.7.20151030git213f43d.fc24.x86_64

MAC cloning:

- on client
  - r8712u.ko       :not working
  - rtl8192su.ko    :working
  - mt7601u.ko :if MAC cloned cannot connect

- on hotspot
  - rt2800usb.ko    :working

It is kernel modules issue, therefore,
network-manager-applet Hotspot - good to go.
