Thanks; I pushed it, along with some additional fixes, to a new
'samsung-plugin-chromium' branch in my MM tree at gitorious.org,
git://gitorious.org/aleksander/modemmanager.git

If I'm not mistaken, we'll still need to prepare a generic Icera plugin
and let the others depend on it, instead of duplicating every
Icera-specific behaviour in every plugin using Icera chipsets. I'll take
a look at doing that in the next weeks.
