It was probably removed from the LiveCD but of course available in the
repositories, on the multi-CD install set, and on the DVD. The LiveCD
is *not* for everyone, and given that it's space constrained some stuff
has to get dropped. The LiveCD is not intended for people with servers
for example, since many server-type packages aren't included, but are
available from the repos. I believe s-c-n was dropped from the LiveCD
given that NM covers the networking requirements of a majority of users
(note I didn't say all users).
