I'm afraid it's my mistake. When choosing 'PC Suite' mode, the Mobile
Broadband option is available in NetworkManager applet. It through me
off that the Nokia N85 didn't need any mode selected to allow this
functionality.

In fact I'm just testing it right now. Thank-you for helping me and also
a big thank-you for all your work on NetworkManager, it makes my life so
much easier and is the most elegant solution I know of.

I'm very much looking forward to when you can tether to the 3g modem via
bluetooth.
