OK That's not the problem I see.  vpnc has trouble with dead peer
detection on my employer's Cisco VPN, and NetworkManager-vpnc has no way
to cope with it, but running vpnc standalone with DPD off works fine.

When I do run vonc standalone, it doesn't show the lock icon in
nm-applet, though.  vpnc creates wmaster0 and tun0.
