Re: How to react on lost connection?

Okay thank you very much, here's now my final solution for the NM-problem with kismet:

Just save this script in a file Kismet in /usr/local/bin :

#!/usr/bin/env ruby
$Verbose = true

# Versetzt den Network-Manager in den Schlaf
system('dbus-send --system --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.sleep')
# Startet Kismet
system('sudo kismet')
# Startet den Network-Manager wieder
system('dbus-send --system --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.wake')

Now you can start kismet with "sudo Kismet" and everything works as usual :)
