Nevertheless, since the patch was written ten months ago, I didn't think waiting anymore would make sense. Personally, I'd commit it to the upstream svn and start extending for/converting to baselayout-2 afterwards. Maintaining it outside only costs unnecessary effort when there are refactorings upstream. What changes are needed for baselayout-2 except for possible syntax changes in conf.d/net? Thanks, Robert
