Couple of bugs (DHCP, Dialog, 802.1x), not sure where to post them

Hi,

I've been using NM on Ubuntu 6.06 for a few weeks and found a couple
of bugs. I'm not sure where the best place for them is, so I thought
I'd post here.

First, I have a WPA2-TKIP network, and my DHCP server is sometimes
down. When this is the case, I cannot log in to the wireless network.
It took me a while to figure out what was causing this intermittent
problem, and I wonder if (1) an error message thats informative could
occur when connection to a network fails, instead of just asking for
authentication credentials again (2) the option to input static ip
information could be provided

Second, the dialog to enter credentials for an encrypted network does
not automatically come to the foreground, it in fact pops under other
windows, which is annoying.

Third, my Univeristy uses 802.1x and NM doesn't work. My friendly
network administrators said that its asking for a WEP key in error,
and that the WEP key used to start the session is provided to the
supplicant. From the wpa_supplicant docs it looks like I could get on
the University network, but without NM's support I won't. I saw
mention of this issue on the wiki TODO page, and can provide further
details if it would help :-)
