Make sure you have "gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor" otherwise 
the GTK icon cache knows nothing about the new icons.  GTK should probably fall 
back to searching for the icons if it can't find one instead of simply returning 
NULL, IMHO.
