Peter,
You'll see in the NetworkManager package a binary called
NetworkManagerDispatcher, which currently will listen for and respond to
signals from NM about network device changes. It calls scripts
in /etc/NetworkManager.d when that happens. While it doesn't get called
for DHCP changes yet, perhaps it could be, and could be used to rewrite
and 'kill -HUP' the named process. Would that work for you? Colin W.
might also have ideas on this.
