Hi,
I'm seeing some strange behavior, and I thought I'd post here to see if
it's a know problem.
Anyway, about half the time, on a resume after swsusp, "ip" will be
running (with NetworkManager as its parent process), and consuming as
much of the CPU as the scheduler will allow. If I restart dbus, and
kill nm-applet, everything goes back to normal.
top shows "ip" (PID 19825) taking ~99% of the CPU, and ps -efH shows
that network manager is its parent:
root 12278 1 0 Dec08 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/NetworkManager
root 19825 12278 97 09:32 ? 00:44:21 /sbin/ip neigh flush all
I'm running ubuntu breezy, with j_'s packages from
http://bootlab.org/~j/NetworkManager-breezy/
The dpkg versions of network-manager and dbus are 0.5.1-0ubuntu1, and
0.36.2-0ubuntu7, respectively.
