Ooch, I hate segfaults as God kills a kitten for every single segfault
in all apps of the universe. And trying to attack God using Denial of
Service appears to me as a very bad practice.

Looking at the backtrace, it looks like GDB is sending garbage for a
reason. Could you please generate some logs of your debugging that leads
to the crash by doing:
nmv_log_domains="nmv-gdb-engine.cc" nemiver <your-application> > log.txt 2>&1
, do the steps that lead to the crash, and send me the log.txt file,
please?

It's more involved thant just the disass. The asm instructions are
wrapped into some packets and come with some metadata. It's all that
thing that is parsed.
